PRIVACY & COOKIES

Protecting your personal data is particularly important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the applicable legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). This privacy information explains the most important aspects of data processing in connection with our website.

Contacting us

If you contact us using the form on the website or by email, we will store the information you provide to process your request and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass this data on without your consent.

Web analytics

Our website uses features of the Google Analytics web analytics service. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Cookies are used for this purpose, enabling analysis of how users use the website. The information generated in this way is transmitted to and stored on the provider's servers. You can prevent this by configuring your browser so that no cookies are stored.

IP anonymisation

We have enabled the IP anonymisation function on this website. This means that Google truncates your IP address within Member States of the European Union or other Contracting States to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide the website operator with other services related to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data.

Browser plugin

You can prevent cookies from being stored by selecting the appropriate setting in your browser software. Please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address), and from processing this data, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics

This website uses the “demographic characteristics” feature of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated containing information about the age, gender and interests of website visitors. This data comes from Google's interest-based advertising and visitor data from third parties. This data cannot be associated with any specific person. You can disable this feature at any time through the ad settings in your Google account, or generally prohibit Google Analytics from collecting your data as described in the section “Objecting to data collection”.

Newsletter

You can subscribe to our newsletter through our website. To do so, we need your email address, first name, surname and your confirmation that you agree to receive the newsletter. To provide you with information tailored to your interests, we also collect and process information you provide voluntarily about your areas of interest, address, date of birth and, where applicable, other fields. Once you have subscribed to the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to confirm your subscription.

You can cancel your newsletter subscription at any time by completing the following form: Newsletter unsubscribe. We will then promptly delete your data relating to newsletter distribution.

Google Maps

We embed maps from the “Google Maps” service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The data processed may include, in particular, users' IP addresses and location data; however, this data is not collected without their consent (generally given through the settings on their mobile devices). The data may be processed in the USA. Privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/, opt-out: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated.

YouTube

Our website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The site operator is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages that has a YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube's servers is established. This informs the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to associate your browsing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. Further information about the handling of user data can be found in YouTube's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy

Facebook

This website uses the Facebook visitor action pixel to measure conversions. This service is provided by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. According to Facebook, the data collected is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.

This makes it possible to track the behaviour of visitors after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimised.

The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about users' identities. However, Facebook stores and processes the data, making it possible to link it to the relevant user profile, and Facebook may use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Facebook's Data Use Policy. This enables Facebook to serve advertisements on Facebook pages and outside Facebook. As the website operator, we cannot influence this use of the data.

The use of the Facebook Pixel is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising measures, including social media. If the relevant consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; consent may be withdrawn at any time.

Further information about protecting your privacy can be found in Facebook's privacy information: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

You can also disable the “Custom Audiences” remarketing feature in the ad settings at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. You must be logged into Facebook to do this.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can disable interest-based advertising from Facebook on the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

Your rights

You generally have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed in any way, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority.

Photography rights

Photographs and video recordings are made throughout the event for documentation and advertising purposes. By entering the event, you declare your consent to the publication/distribution of photographs and videos in which you appear. You thereby also assign the image rights to Bluues Enterprise GmbH.
